Bill Goulette, Senior Coating Specialist with Goulette Consulting & Services, LLC will discuss various issues affecting the quality of Thermal Sprayed Aluminum (TSA) applications. This presentation will include a general discussion of TSA application and inspections considerations as well as specific challenges affecting a recent project for the coating of mooring chain for an offshore petroleum production platform. Bill has spent the last 30 years in the field of protective coatings and linings inspection and application. He is a NACE Certified Level 3 Coating Inspector, a NACE Certified Coating Specialist, serves on both the NACE Instructor and Peer Quality Subcommittee and the NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP) committee and is also a Peer board member in the CIP. He currently serves as Advisor to the President and is the immediate past- President of the Coating Society of the Houston Area. |
