Integrity Approach to Plant and Facility Inspection Management (PFIM).

Introduction

The threat of various types of corrosion (general, pitting, galvanic, crevice, intergranular, selective leaching, stress corrosion cracking, etc.) combined with related conditions of mechanical and metallurgical damage, can be assessed using a variety of tools that were not available in the early days.  Therefore, a need is required for an auditable and systematic process by which these threats can be assessed adequately.  This presentation describes an approach to monitor, integrate and analyze these different types of data and information and to identify whether corrosion, mechanical or metallurgical threats are a concern.

Should there be any questions, please advise.

Thank you for your help,
