CARL MILTON JONES, 68, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at home following a long illness.

Carl was a member of coating society for many years.  His father was a charter member and was a part of CHSA until his death. Carl quit coming about 10 years ago so a lot of the new members won't remember him but the oldtimers will.

A patriot embracing freedom, faith and family, Carl served his country as a dedicated U.S. Marine, an industrious business owner, an avid outdoorsman and a staunch defender of Second Amendment rights. Reared across the South and invested in Houston,

Carl placed belief above benefit and cause above correctness.He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith Hoffman Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Joseph Rozelle; beloved grandchildren, Laura and James Rozelle; brothers, Earl Franklin Jones, Jr. and Arthur William Jones; sister-in-law, Rebecca Woodworth; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
