We are about to wrap up another successful CSHA year. The CSHA is grateful to all of the people that worked so hard to make it successful. I would also like to express a personal thanks to everyone that supported me through this past year. And that certainly includes the executive officers: Brian Battle, Ray Posgay, and Michael Stelmach. You are a committed group, and you have kept the CSHA strong. It has been a great experience.

 We have made every attempt to live up to our charter while serving the membership as well as the community at large. It has not always been easy, but it has always been rewarding.

We successfully navigated the rough economic waters of 2009. All events were successful. From the Painters Competition, to Tradeshow, to Casino Night (our first annual experience with this one), to the Golf tournament and a great Christmas Party; the committee leaders and workers have all done a terrific job. We supported painting craftsmen with a day of food and fun, prize money and training gifts and also gave out $7700 in academic scholarships. Not bad for a bunch of volunteers.

I am sure that 2010 will be even better. Join me in welcoming Paul Carter as our Treasurer for 2010. I look forward to the leadership of Brian Battle as our 2010 President.
